Frequently asked questions

Can I set hours and not just minutes?
Yes. The custom controls go up to 23 hours, and the nine presets cover the usual study, cooking and workout lengths.
What happens if I close the tab?
The countdown stops — it runs in your browser, not on a server. Leaving the tab open in the background is fine; the time stays correct.
How will I know it finished?
A soft chime plays at zero, and on desktop and Android a system notification can appear too — your browser asks once when you press start. iPhone browsers cannot show them, so keep the tab unmuted there.
